Office Administrator

Location: Hamilton Cricket Office, Waikato University

Term: Part-time, fixed-term position April - September 2019, up to 24 hours per week.

Responsible to: General Manager

Purpose Statement: Supporting the smooth running of the Hamilton Cricket Association office

Key Accountabilities:

  • Website management
  • Social media management
  • Manage CricHQ software
  • Assisting with the organisation of the annual HCA prizegiving functions
  • Process cricket net bookings
  • Administration of winter events and programmes
  • Assist with all promotional activities, which may include photography, interviews, media reports, prizegiving and match analysis
  • Ensuring the smooth administration of the HCA office

Personal Specifications:

  • Familiarity with data entry, website maintenance (wordpress.org), Microsoft Office and CricHQ
  • Experience in the utilisation of social media for the enhancement of HCA's profile
  • Some knowledge of cricket is desirable
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skill
  • Team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure positive relationships with stakeholders and exceptional customer service is provided
  • Driver licence
  • There will be a level of flexibility required in terms of the number of hours to be worked each week and the days these are to be worked, depending on the events and programmes planned
