Play in a team

Join a school or club team to learn and develop skills through practice and matches and 'PLAY IN A TEAM'. Available to all abilities and ages both new and experienced, there are opportunities to play either softball or hardball cricket.

Cost: As per individual club/school fees.

Facilitated by ND Cricket and local clubs, Smash Play Hubs are 45 minute sessions packed full of more hits, more action, and more fun! This programme aims to foster great cricketers and even greater tamariki through three key values - mahi tahi (cooperation), pono (honesty), and tautoko (support).

About Bay of Plenty Cricket

Bay of Plenty Cricket Association’s goals are to sustain cricket, grow cricket and provide elite pathways for all within their region.

They are responsible for administering cricket throughout the Bay of Plenty region, stretching as far as Rotorua and Taupo.

Their administrative base is Te Puke, while the renowned Bay Oval is one of their home playing grounds.
