Coaching Roles Open at Waikato Valley Cricket
Want to share your knowledge and love of the game while supporting talented Waikato Valley players to reach their potential? We are currently recruiting for a Senior Men's Head Coach, and taking expressions of interest for rangatahi coaching roles in the region.
Senior Men's Coach
The Waikato Valley Cricket Association is seeking applications for a Coach for the WV Senior Men’s cricket team. The role will be a fixed term contract for 1 August 2023 to 30 April 2024. Remuneration is through a base contract, with performance payments available.
The ideal candidate will be able to create a high quality environment that supports the team and individual players to achieve their potential. You will do this by leveraging your cricket knowledge and leadership skills to create a positive team environment and whole of team approach to the game, focused on a culture of continuous improvement. You will also be able to provide appropriate learning and development opportunities for individual players to support them to achieve a high level of technical and tactical performance.
Experience and qualifications:
- NZC Coaching Level 2 qualification or higher (preferred)
- Experience in community and/or professional sport
- Must be legally entitled to work in NZ

Rangatahi Coaching Roles At Waikato Valley Cricket
Waikato Valley Cricket are now calling for expressions of interest for the Rangatahi Coaching roles – these include the youth and emerging male and female teams. These coaching roles will have a significant impact within the Pathway system for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
